Butternut squash salad: simple, warm and healthy.
Do you want to stay healthy during the winter months, but crave carbs and sugar? That's completely normal. Your body isn't designed for the cold! So it craves warmth and food which gives you energy fast, like carbs.
To beat the carbs and sugar trap, you need to make sure you meal prep to keep your hunger at bay.
For me, prepping healthy but delicious food is always the answer! And I absolutely love butternut squash freshly roasted from the oven.

1/4 butternut squash
Handful chopped cherry tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Dash cayenne pepper
Pinch of salt
Drizzle of olive oil
Chopped fresh chilli (optional)
Chop the butternut squash into chunks and place on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil, cumin, pepper, salt and chilli.
Roast on 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
Plate with chopped tomatoes, and add leaves if you need!
